Location: Iles d’Hyères, France

The surface was glossy on this calm and windless day. I swam out with my camera equipment hooked on to my swimming trunks. Despite the fact that the diving house is quite large and clumsy, it is only possible to crawl as fast with it as a companion clinging to me. It was very deep in this place. The bottom could not be discerned. I took this picture at around seven, eight meters deep. It gives me a sense of calmness from looking at this image as it mixes between the symmetrical and asymmetrical shapes of the bubbles.

This collection represents a small selection of work that originate from Paul’s exploration of our underwater world.
